The funds were awarded from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Continuum of Care grant program.

Dannehy, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that PAUL MAYOTTE, 69, of Brookfield, the CFO of Girouard Associates, Inc. and RRG Investments, LLC, both of which are owned by Connecticut real estate developer Richard Girouard, pleaded guilty today before Senior United States District Judge Alfred V. Covello in Hartford to one count of an indictment charging MAYOTTE with conspiring with Girouard to commit wire fraud related to a scheme to defraud an investor out of money.

Washington, DC - November 6, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman Joe Courtney announced that he has voted in favor of H.R. 3548, the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act, which extends an additional 14 weeks of unemployment assistance to all states, including Connecticut, and extends the homebuyer tax credit for first-time buyers and military families. The legislation also provides relief to businesses by extending a five year net operating loss carryback to 2009. The bill passed 403-12.
