Washington, DC - July 3, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4), Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT), Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) announced that the U.S. Department of Labor has awarded two grants to The WorkPlace, a Workforce Development Board in Bridgeport, Conn. The first grant for $299,670 was awarded under the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP), and the second grant for $150,000 was awarded under the Incarcerated Veterans’ Transition Program (IVTP)

The goal of the Capital Plan is to identify and prioritize a $300 million capital investment over the next ten years in order to preserve and revitalize the State-sponsored Housing Portfolio.

March 6, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- At its February 23, 2012 meeting, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority Board of Directors approved the draft 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Procedures and then proposed amendments to the 2012 QAP and LIHTC Procedures for public comment. The 2012 QAP will apply to all LIHTC applications beginning in 2012, including those applying in September, 2012.
