Lieberman Applauds More Than $7.1 Million for CT Community Development and Job Growth
WASHINGTON, DC - September 23, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT) today praised the release of $7,162,353 in Recovery Act funding to improve living conditions, provide affordable housing and create economic opportunities. These funds were distributed to eight municipalities across the state, as well as to the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. The grants were released by the federal Department Housing and Urban Development as a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
