Esty, Connecticut Delegation Announce $9.8 million in Home Heating Relief

Hartford, CT - February 3, 2014 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today, the Connecticut Congressional Delegation announced $9,828,252 for Connecticut’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released 90 percent of the state’s total FY2014 LIHEAP funds in November under the Continuing Resolution of 2014. Today’s nearly $10 million figure represents Connecticut’s remaining LIHEAP funds for this fiscal year, which total $77,412,553.
