Construction begins on Highgrove luxury condominium in Stamford

-

Ceebraid-Signal and Hunter Roberts Construction Group recently announced that construction is currently underway for Highgrove, downtown Stamford’s most exclusive new luxury condominium designed by the world-renowned architectural firm, Robert A. M. Stern Architects.

A masterful blend of neo-classical style and modern amenities, Highgrove is Stamford ’s premier luxury high-rise condominium, comprised of 95 elegantly appointed condominium residences as well as 230 indoor valet parking spaces.

Hunter Roberts Construction Group was retained by Ceebraid-Signal to construct Highgrove in fall of 2006 and is providing preconstruction and construction management services for the 350,000 square-foot condominium. All of the residences and common area spaces at Highgrove will feature high-end millwork, crown moldings, fine trim and stone and wood flooring finishes.

Hunter Roberts has compiled an impressive team of experienced professionals to execute the preconstruction and construction management for Highgrove, including Mike Wolfe, project executive; John Cannon, senior project manager; and Dominic Bueti, project manager. The company’s portfolio of work includes luxury residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in Connecticut , as well as the greater New York metropolitan area.

Highgrove is a joint venture between Ceebraid-Signal, one of the New York metropolitan area’s foremost multi-family real estate development firms; and the New York-based real estate investment arm of Investcorp International.

With site-work underway, Highgrove is on track for meeting its expected completion date of summer of 2009. An official groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for Sept. 27.

“Ceebraid-Signal is thrilled to announce that construction on Highgrove is underway. This condominium will realize a new standard of luxury living in Stamford and is a representation of Ceebraid-Signal’s strong commitment to providing expertly designed residences in desirable locations,” stated Jason Schlesinger, principal of Ceebraid-Signal.

Highgrove will rise 18 stories at the intersection of Forest and Grove streets in the heart of Stamford ’s Central Business District, providing residents with direct access to the city’s premier shopping, dining and cultural venues, as well as a short commute into New York via the nearby Stamford Transportation Center .

“Hunter Roberts Construction Group has provided preconstruction services for the Highgrove project, including the site logistics and site safety planning, scheduling, budgeting and value engineering,” stated Mike Wolfe, project executive for Hunter Roberts Construction Group. “We have worked closely with the owner and the project consultants and are excited about building this project.”

Highgrove is a combination of two-, three- and four-bedroom condominium homes that provide an impressive average of 2,558 square feet of living space. Residents will revel in the condominium’s many luxury amenities, including private elevator access to each home, wine cellar, 24-hour doorman, concierge, indoor swimming pool with retractable roof, spa and fitness center, private screening room and valet parking.
